Practical tips to limit pain
Hair removal is not exactly one of life’s great pleasures -and we should know! Rough shaves, painful waxes, ingrown hairs, sensitive areas or buddy spots -it’s not always easy to remove body hair without pain and irritation. However, there are practical tips to help you avoid or at least limit pain. Here are 5 of them!
1/ Make a body scrub
Without being anything revolutionary in terms of minimising the pain linked with hair removal, a body scrub can be a great ally: it reduces the risk of ingrown hairs and facilitates hair removal.

2/ Apply talc
To avoid redness due to hair removal, you can apply talcum powder before and after the process, to calm the skin.

3/ Take a painkiller 30 minutes beforehand
Naturally, painkillers need to be taken in moderation, but some women find this the ultimate tip for limiting pain: take a painkiller 30 minutes before waxing….

4/ Take a hot shower
This will dilate the pores on your skin and facilitate hair removal.

5/ Apply a hot towel
Soak a towel in hot water and apply it for a few seconds to the relevant area before waxing. Immediately afterwards, re-apply the hot towel for an anaesthetic effect.
