3 natural homemade shampoo recipes

Fed up of purchasing expensive shampoos which are full of chemicals? You’re right to boycott the big brands, there is no need to purchase their hair masks which  contain chemicals that can damage your hair fibres, when you can make your own natural shampoos at home! Here are 3 recipes to create your own shampoos, resulting in luscious locks:

1/ Shampoo with Jojoba oil for very dry hair

Jojoba oil helps moisturize your hair deeply and repair any damaged fibres. The aloe vera will add extra softness.

Ingredients:

– 250 ml og jojoba oil

– 250ml of distilled water

– 250ml of castille soap

– 25oml of Aloe Vera

– 1 tea spoon of glycerin

Add the ingredients into a bowl and mix together. Pour the contents into a old shampoo bottle to store it. You can use this mixture as a mask and to heal damaged hair.

2/ Clay shampoo for grey hair

Clay contains purifying properties which can regulate the production of sebum to prevent the growth of grey hair.

Ingredients:

– 2 table spoons of green clay

– 10 drops of essential rosewood oil

Mix the clay with the oil drops. Once the mixture is added to your hair, massage it in gently and rinse well with warm water.

3/Honey shampoo for hair suffering from breakages

Honey has restorative and soothing properties, which will strengthen brittle hair.

Ingredients:

– 2 egg yorls

– 1 dessert spoon of rum

– 1 teaspoon of honey

Mix the 3 ingredients together and apply to yout hair. Leave the mixture to rest for a few minutes then rinse with cold water.
