Not always easy to maintain our wardrobe when we have a hectic life of rushing around at what feels like 90mph! Wine stains, deodorant marks on a black top, left over wax on our knickers… our clothes go through a lot! Here are some brilliant and useful tips that will change your life and make looking after your clothes easier.
1/ Dry your cashmere jumpers in a salad spinner
Always wash your cashmere jumpers by hand and then dry them in a salad spinner, to remove excessive water.
2/ Remove oil from your handbag using talcum powder.
Have you got an oil mark on your favourite handbag? Dust some talcum powder onto the mark and leave over night. Normally the talc will absorb the mark and make it disappear. If it hasn’t worked do it again.
3/ Remove wax from your pants with wax strips
Have you finished waxing your bikini line to find that your favorite knickers are covered in fresh wax? Don’t worry you can remove the wax which is stuck by using the same wax paper strips that you were using to remove your pubic hairs. Place one of your wax paper stripes onto the area of your knickers where there is wax residue and press down. Then take an iron and press on top to melt the wax to then stick to the strip, and peel off. The wax will have come off your knickers!
4/ Wear your leather coat in the rain to soften it.
Is it raining? Put on your new leather coat and go outside in the rain! the water will naturally soften the leather and relax it in areas such as the underarms.
5/ Use white wine to get rid of a red wine stain
Has your favourite top or new dress got a stain from some Bordeaux? No need to panic, you can apply onto the red wine, some white wine! Simple!
6/ Put your woolly jumpers in the freezer
To prevent your woolen jumper from getting bobbles, place it in a zipper bag and place in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
